RHBA Beautification Project:Hanging Flower Baskets

It only takes a little of your green to keep Raleigh Hills Blooming!

 

RHBA wants to create a welcoming atmoshphere in the Raleigh Hills business community. Imagine a dozen LARGE HANGING FLOWER BASKETS gracing our main intersection!

 

Our first year we are starting with the minimum order (one dozen). We believe this concept will "bloom" and have hopes that the community will jump on board and help to create a yearly tradition.

  • We will then have 12 hanging baskets for 3 months: June thru August

The fees cover, the plants, the brackets, dealing with the public municipalities, watering and maintenance. We can add more baskets as funding allows. With your help the baskets can be hung as early as May.

 

The cost is $140 per basket per month - including installation, flowers, wstering and maintenance. One business can sponsor a basket. Five friends can pay $28 a month for three months to sponsor a basket. Give any amount. All donors will be acknowledged on the RHBA website.

RHBA is a Registered Oregon 501 c 6 non-profit organization.

Donations may be deductible as an advertising expense, check with your financial consultant.

Beautification Donation

RHBA Member Open House/After Hours Venue Opportunity

RHBA MEMBERS WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU!

 

If you are a member business with a brick and mortar location consider hosting an Open House Event. Usually held on the third Wednesday of the month at either the lunch hour or after work/happy hour. It is a good way to bring the membership to your door. To lessen the burden on any one business, we encourage you to pair up with a business that might not have a retail or public location. This way home/car based businesses can participate in the Open House Event too. Maybe two members' neighboring businesses might want to join together for a "progressive" gathering. We have lots of options and are flexible to hear your ideas too!

 

In addition, we ask our members to donate raffle items for the Open House events. The benefit of the raffle will be to add to the RHBA Beautification Fund to help pay for the "hanging flower baskets" we hope to have in place this year.

 

So there are three ways to support RHBA Open House

  • Host an event
  • Co-host an event
  • Donate a raffle item

In exchange, your event and contribution will be featured on

  • The RHBA website
    • On the calendar of events
  • In RHBA promotional materials
  • In the email reminders to the Members
